Hartley Brent Price, better known as Brent Price (born December 9 1968 in Shawnee, Oklahoma), is a retired American professional Basketball player in the NBA. He is the younger brother of former Cleveland Cavaliers Point guard Mark Price.
Price was drafted in the second round (32nd overall pick) in the 1992 NBA Draft by the Washington Bullets (now Wizards). He played for Washington for 3 years scoring an average of 3 points a game, and made 41% of his field Goals. On May 19, 1995 he was waived by the Bullets and then resigned on October 3, 1995. He was released in the end of the 1995 season, and signed with the Houston Rockets. He improved, averaging 5 points a game and made 43% of his field goals. On August 1, 1999 he was traded to Memphis Grizzlies for Steve Francis and Tony Massenburg. It was a two year struggle scoring only 3 points a game and 30% made field goals. On June 27, 2001 he was acquired by Sacramento Kings with Mike Bibby for Jason Williams and Nick Anderson.
