Kirk Patrick Snyder (born June 5, 1983 in Los Angeles, California) is an American professional Basketball player in the NBA. He grew up in Upland, California.

Snyder spent his college career at Nevada. In 2004, he led the Wolf Pack to its first Sweet 16 in the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship. During that trip, they beat No. 2 seed Gonzaga and No. 7 seed Michigan State, but lost in the third round to eventual national runner-up and No. 3 Georgia Tech. In 2005, Nevada made it back to the NCAA past the first round by beating Texas, but later losing to No. 1 Illinois.

He was drafted in the first round (16th overall) of the 2004 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz. After one season, he was traded to the New Orleans Hornets as part of the largest trade in NBA history.

In New Orleans he became a starter. He scored a career high of 28 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves. After a decent year playing with the Hornets, Snyder was traded to the Houston Rockets for a 2008 second-round draft pick and cash considerations.

On February 21, 2008 he was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves along with a 2010 second-round draft pick and cash considerations for Gerald Green.

Kirk married his college sweetheart Haley Dahl and has two children.
